2. DEFINITIONS
Service Provider; refers to the operator of Academy Prometheus, as identified in Section 1.
User; refers to any natural person who registers on the Website, purchases Services, or uses the Website.
Website; refers to www.academyprometheus.com and all associated subdomains.
Services; refers to online courses, webinars, e-books, and any other digital content offered by the Service Provider.
Subscription; refers to a recurring monthly payment arrangement that grants access to certain Services.
E-book; refers to downloadable digital publications in PDF format.
Course; refers to pre-recorded video-based educational content in the fields of Marketing, IT, and Finance.
Certificate; refers to the certification issued upon successful completion of a Course.
3. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
3.1. These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all transactions and interactions between the Service Provider and Users on the Website.
3.2. By registering on the Website, purchasing any Service, or otherwise using the Website, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
3.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via email. Continued use of the Services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
3.4. These Terms are available in English. The governing language of these Terms is English.
4. REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNTS
4.1. Registration is mandatory to purchase and access any Services on the Website.
4.2. Users must be at least 18 years of age to register and use the Services.
4.3. Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
4.4. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
4.5. Account sharing is strictly prohibited. Each User account is for the exclusive use of the registered User only.
4.6. Users may delete their account at any time through the Website in their account settings, or by contacting the Service Provider at info@academyprometheus.com.
4.7. The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate User accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice and without refund.
5. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
5.1. Online Courses
a) Courses are available in the following subject areas: Marketing, IT, and Finance.
b) All course content consists of pre-recorded video lectures accessible online.
c) Webinar recordings may be included as part of certain Courses; these are available in video format only and are not live sessions.
d) Course materials are available in English.
e) Course content is accessible only through online streaming and cannot be downloaded.
f) Supplementary materials (PDF workbooks) may be provided with certain Courses.
g) Upon successful completion of a Course, Users receive a Certificate.
h) A free English proficiency assessment is available to all Users.
5.2. E-books
a) E-books are available exclusively in PDF format.
b) E-books are downloadable and may be saved to an unlimited number of devices.
c) E-books do not have copy protection (DRM).
d) E-books focus on English language learning and development.
6. SUBSCRIPTION AND PRICING
6.1. Access to Courses is provided through a monthly subscription model. E-books are available for one-time purchase.
6.2. Subscriptions are valid for one (1) month from the date of purchase and automatically renew unless cancelled.
6.3. Prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and Euro (EUR).
6.4. All prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, or levies. Users are responsible for any taxes that may apply in their jurisdiction.
6.5. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect active subscriptions until renewal.
6.6. The Service Provider may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, and other special offers from time to time at its sole discretion. Discounts and coupon codes cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise specified by the Service Provider. The validity period and terms of use for coupon codes are specified in the relevant promotional materials. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotions at any time.
6.7. In case of pricing errors, the Service Provider is not obligated to fulfill orders at the incorrect price. If a clearly erroneous price is displayed on the Website (such as a price of 0 or an unrealistically low price that significantly differs from the actual value of the product or service), the Service Provider may reject the order or correct the error upon notifying the User. In such cases, the User may choose to purchase the product or service at the correct price or cancel the purchase. If the User has already paid, the Service Provider will refund the amount without delay.
7. PAYMENT TERMS
7.1. Payment for Services may be made through the payment methods available on the Website at the time of purchase.
7.2. Currently accepted payment method: GoPay.
7.3. The Service Provider may add or remove payment methods at any time without prior notice.
7.4. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. The Service Provider does not store credit card or banking information.
7.5. Subscription payments are automatically charged on a monthly basis until the subscription is cancelled.
8. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
8.1. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the Website in their account settings.
8.2. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Users retain access to the Services until the end of the paid period.
8.3. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
9.1. Due to the nature of digital content and services, the Service Provider does not offer refunds or a right of withdrawal once access to the Services has been granted.
9.2. By completing a purchase, the User expressly consents to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledges that this waives any right of withdrawal that may otherwise apply.
9.3. E-books: Once an E-book has been downloaded, no refund is available.
9.4. Courses: Once access to a Course has been activated, no refund is available.
9.5. The User confirms acceptance of these terms during the checkout process.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
10.1. All content available on the Website, including but not limited to courses, videos, e- books, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the exclusive property of the Service Provider or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10.2. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
10.3. Users may not:
a) Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content;
b) Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse engineer any content;
c) Share, resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the Services;
d) Use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent;
e) Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the content.
10.4. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the content may result in immediate account termination and legal action, including claims for damages.

11.3. Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

12.2. The Service Provider does not guarantee any specific results from using the Services, including but not limited to career advancement, income increase, or skill acquisition.
12.3. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services.
12.4. In no event shall the Service Provider's total liability exceed the amount paid by the User for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12.5. The Service Provider is not responsible for any third-party content, links, or services accessed through the Website.
13. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND SUPPORT
13.1. The Services are accessible via web browser on computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
13.2. No mobile application is currently available; Services are browser-based only.
13.3. Users are responsible for ensuring they have adequate internet connectivity and compatible devices to access the Services.
13.4. In the event of technical issues preventing access to the Services for thirty (30) consecutive days or more, the Service Provider will provide appropriate compensation (such as subscription extension) at its discretion.

14. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
14.1. The Service Provider collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its Privacy Policy.

15. AFFILIATE AND PARTNER PROGRAM
15.1. The Service Provider may offer an affiliate or partner program.

16. GIFT CARDS
16.1. The Service Provider may offer gift cards or gift certificates.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
18.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary.
18.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary.
18.3. Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably through direct negotiation.

19. FORCE MAJEURE
19.1. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemic, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
20. SEVERABILITY
20.1. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
21. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
21.1. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Service Provider regarding the use of the Services.
21.2. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations regarding the subject matter hereof.
